Our fourth and fifth grade students recently participated in a school TedX competition. We had nine students present with the hopes of representing our school at the district level. Their speeches were incredible as they focused on how to make a difference in our world and those people and events that have impacted our lives-past and present. We had a hard time choosing just one representative.

Aaylah Figueroa will be representing Sunray at the district level with Mariah Taylor and Rio Wotjecki our runners up. All three of these students will have the distinct honor of presenting to our SAC Committee next month. We would like to also recognize Alexis Heckman, Kody Farrell, Savannah Montemarano, Samantha Ferguson, Jo’Mari Rivera and Breanna Diaz for their amazing contribution and hard work in participating in our first TedX.
