Ms. Davidson’s class has been reading “It’s Back to School We Go” which is an informational book about how children go to school in different countries. They have been learning about a new country every few days while practicing their reading skills and finding the main idea and details. Some of the details in the book were about what they ate, how they take care of their school, and what types of activities they enjoyed. Ms. Davidson’s class extended their learning through Origami, writing their names in Japanese and even tried sushi , seaweed salad, rice, and edamame with chopsticks! This amazing learning opportunity ended when they took their shoes off and learned how to bow to show respect.
