Ms. Frederick’s class had a battle today. They recently participated in a classroom breakout. This is an activity where students follow clues to unlock boxes where more clues lead them to the final box. Clues are based on skills taught in prior grades, problem solving riddles, and review of recent curriculum. It’s a frenzy of activity and teamwork. Today was a final battle that was set to put the a.m winners versus the p.m winners of the last BreakOut. We were honored to have our district videographer come out and document the event. In the end, the p.m class won. They broke out with 3 minutes remaining and the a.m class opened the last lock as the timer went to 0.
