All children entering a Florida school for the first time, including kindergarten and transfer students from out of state, must comply with the Florida Compulsory Immunization Law (FL. Statute 232.032) A certificate of immunization(which may be obtained from a physician or the County Health Department), a physical examination and an original birth certificate must be presented before the child will be admitted to school. Questions regarding exemptions from the law due to medical or religious reasons will be answered at the District Office or County Health Department.
